“Rhys, did you ride on a horse?” 毕特问起我来。
“I taught him how to ride on my horse.” 兆良抢着说。
“What? Michael, did you say you get a horse?”
“Well, it’s my pa’s.”
“Ah, I see…”
“Pa, I go with Mike tomorrow afternoon? I’ve never been to Eisenhower Park…”
我突然想跟兆良到East Meadow走走，听到妈高兴的向兆良问起来：
“Mike, I’ve got a hearsay, East Meadow has a great number of colleges and uies. Is that right? ”
“Yeah.”
兆良心里明白我妈在打甚麽算盘，简单回应了便没再说下去。看到妈转头向毕特说：
“Burt, I want Rhys to have a look here or East Meadow, if he’s not able to study in Hong Kong, at least he may find a ce here.”
毕特微微暗笑，心里晓得妈恨不得我在这儿读书： “Honey, I agree.”
我心里雀跃起来，突然想说，又吞了下去。兆良看到我的表情便对爸妈说：
“Do you mind if I take Rhys there for a day? East Meadow’s pretty familiar to me, and I’m cheg a high school as well.”
“Yeah, Mike, great, great…thanks a lot. Are you going to study here? Mike.” 妈反问起来。
“Haha…I’m in the case like Rhys.”
“Oh, that’s really great! We’d better t on Mike. Burt, do you agree?”
毕特微微笑起来：“I’m pretty old to check colleges now……so Mike, please, take care of Rhys!”
“Yeah, sure!”
兆良说得极其自然，想不到他装蒜装得到家了。势头顺利，我便向毕特探问：
“Pa, we ask Mike to stay here tonight?”
“Why not? Ah… Mike, do you want to join our wedding rehearsal tomorrow m?”
“Ahha…Yeah, it’s my pleasure, gratulations!”
因为明早的婚礼彩排，各人均想提早休息。我在房里跟杰在网上谈了一会儿，他说工作很累，不过这次工作经验也让他学懂人际关系。这个课题对我这个怕面对人的少年来说，可有点过於沈重。当我说起妈要跟我回港时，杰显得有点失望。
「干吗？杰。」
「没甚麽。我在想，到时怎样可以尽快跟你见一次面。」
我心里明白杰为何这麽渴望看我。
「杰啊，你让我想想，我也很想见你。」
「可我不只是想跟你见见面啊！敏。」
「我懂啊，你想看我，得想想带我到哪儿了！」
「我会了，敏。我好爱你呀，敏！」
我打了个唇印在对话窗上。
「敏，我就憋不住了！」
「杰啊，明天一大早我得起床到教堂婚礼彩排去，後天跟你再说，好麽？」
「好，晚安了！」
刚好这时兆良从通道门探进头来。
「敏，方便吗？」
「没甚麽，我跟同学聊聊吧！甚麽事？」
「你愿不愿意跟我一块儿睡？」
